MNP Services needed a new database to manage all of their jobs. This included a system accessible by tablet that allowed jobs to be signed off by clients on site.
They previously relied of a paper system which would need to be scanned and emailed manually. We combined a tablet based system with an office based database to speed up their daily productivity.
The office based database features a list of builders, developments and properties along with all relevant information about each. Users on the system have the ability to add/edit and remove each of these elements. Administrators on the system also have the ability to add/edit and remove users from the system.
The system also features a warning system for properties where a service is required shortly, and where a warranty is soon to expire on the property.
The primary function of the system is the job module, allowing jobs to be assigned directly against a property. These jobs can then be viewed in a calendar for ease, where they can be viewed further or edited if there needs to be a change.
When an engineer is out on site, they can access the system on a tablet where it will show details of the jobs they need to complete in that day. From here they can then fill in the details of the problem then have the client sign the job off when the job is complete. This then emails a job report back to the office and to the builder regarding the completed job. All of these details are also stored in the database where there are tools built into the system to report on certain aspects of information.
